Greetings to all !
It's middle of summer and vacation time is in full swing. What does it mean? It means that a lot of decision makers, big traders and other financial professionals will be taking time off. Conventional wisdom says that during this time of the year price movements, or rather markets' behavior changes for that very reason. There is a general assumption that moves become more erratic and unpredictable. From where I sit I'm not sure they EVER are predictable, but what do I know? At any rate, it's possible that the liquidity might not be as great as it usually is and reaction to news might less consistent that it's been of late. Potential lower liquidity shouldn't really matter to anybody who trades less then 20M, and that is most, if not all of our readers. Increased spreads and more indecision during news releases are, however, real possibility, so if you trade news (we don't), you just might want to consider it.
Here, at Spectrum Forex LLC., we are also starting our summer vacations. That fact will not have any effect on our services. All updates will be issued at the normal time, web site and Blog page will be maintained in customary manner. There is a SMALL chance that e-mails will be answered a little slower, depending on the volume, but that is a remote possibility and unlikely to happen.
We have added a new feature to our website- Forex Bookstore. As the name implies, it lists books on the subject of Forex trading. Some of those items are full trading courses and all are priced affordably. These are all electronic delivery titles. We are considering releasing couple of publications on our own. They would describe some of the methods we use in "Rainbow" service. Let us know if you are interested.
Our services had a good week, with all of them making decent gains. Look at the table below and follow the link to view all trades.
Our complete results pages have been updated, including performance graphs. You can see our trade by trade performance from beginning of the year, or even previous years.
We also posted snapshots of all "Rainbow" trades from last week. Take a look!

Last week's results.
Last week's review.
First, we'll take a look at a trade we featured on 07.01.2007. The set up was to go LONG EUR-CAD with a target of 1.4600. The price just missed the target, so we closed it few hours later for a profit of 80 pips.
Just a reminder, this trade was NOT a part of "Rainbow" service. We did, however, take it as a matter of consistency. There was a LONG EUR-CAD trade in "Rainbow" and you can see the result here.

Here is the trade from last week. Set up was to go SHORT AUD-USD at 0.8533, with a target of 0.8480. As you can see from the chart, our entry price has not been met and trade was cancelled.
We posted all of our "Rainbow" trades from last week on the Blog  page. Feel free to tour it.

  Next week's trade.

For this coming week the featured trade, or possible trade, is in GBP-JPY. The long standing speculators' favorite instrument. We are looking to go SHORT at 247.59, with a target of 246.50, or a little more than 100 pips.
Have a great week and profitable trading!
