Welcome back!
Another week of Forex madness behind us. Well, we've been talking for last couple of weeks of changing conditions in the market, especially EUR-USD as this is the focus of our Systems. We expected decent, sustained moves and we got them.
We think that performance of our mechanical Systems is changing back into profitability. Word of warning though, just like the market itself, mechanical systems may take time to develop bottom/top in performance results. So how did we do?
System 1 gained 54 pips for the week, which makes 36 pips for March and total for 2006 +61 pips. Go here for details.
System 2 made 107 pips, March total 68 pips and yearly total 70 pips. For complete results click here. |
Discretionary trades.
All right, how did we put it last week? Our EUR-USD trade is jumping like a yo-yo on hihg sees. That continued only this time we are in a profit of 250 pips. We have taken partial profits with the balance holding out for additional 150 pips.
Also we have been holding on to a EUR-CAD trade for about 3 months now and is finally paying of. On Friday we took 300 pips partial profits and looking for about 150-200 pips on the remaining position.
Our GBP-USD position which we opened 3 weeks or so ago is finaly turning into respectabity if not profit just yet. We are in a loss of about 40 pips.
