Image Hosted by ImageShack.usWelcome back!
Glad you could join us today! After a long winter looks like the weather has finally turned to summer-like. A little sunshine puts everybody in better mood, even makes losses less painful.
What have we had this week? Yes, FED made it's decision and it amounted to nothing, rates stayed unchanged. There was very little movement as the announcement hit the wires. Very out of character.. That's just fine with us, chart don't get distorted that way. In our comments couple of weeks ago we made a note of very tight daily ranges for EUR-USD. We also suggested that this should end soon and this pair will start seeing more daily volatility. We think it's already happening. While increased daily movement don't indicate an overall trend, they help with our mechanical systems, "Daily Euro" and "Daily Pound".
Our services had a good week, with all three systems making gains. "Rainbow" had a fairly busy week and we are going into the weekend with two new opened positions, They should reach conclusion within next few days.
Our detailed pages have been updated, you can see all trades taken this year, including performance graphs. Next update to those pages will be made at the end of this month.

Last week's results.

  Discretionary trades.
Last week we featured a possible trade in AUD-JPY. We were going to SELL at 98.25 with a profit target of 97.50. As we can see from the chart, our entry point hasn't been reached. Prices moved strongly in opposite direction. This trade is cancelled and the parameters are no longer valid.

A trade we featured couple of weeks ago also materialized. We went long AUD-NZD at 1.1260 and a target of 1.1310 was reached fairly soon after. Nice 50 pips here.

  Next week's trade.
For this coming week we are taking a look at GBP-CHF. We just had a good trade in this pair and we think we are presented with another opportunity here. We are looking to go long at 2.4191, with a target of 2.4265. If the trade is initiated, we think it's going to be a fast one.
We wish everybody a great trading week and see you next weekend!
