We want to extend best holiday wishes to all our readers. Traditionally this time of the year is a slow period when it comes to trading. This year Christmas Day falls on Tuesday, so the lack of price movement and volume might be even more acute than ever. Monday is Christmas Eve, and Wednesday is a second day of Christmas in Europe. We think that first half of the week will be very slow, with some acceleration last couple of days.
Our updates will be affected. Every subscriber will be notified of changes in our services for this coming week.
Next week will be our last update of 2007. We will take a closer look at some of our trades, review the best as well as the worst. Also, we will make some predictions for 2008. It should be fun, so make sure you visit our pages for that special edition.
This last week has not been very eventful either. We took very few trades, as markets have not seen a lot of movement.
Our mechanical systems, after a couple of weeks of very strong gains, had a flat period, while "Rainbow" showed some strength, but nothing out of ordinary.

Here are the results we achieved last week:
- Rainbow made 268 pips in closed trades;
- Daily Pound made 26 pips;

| One of the few trades we took last week was in CAD-JPY. We have been bullish this pair for a couple of weeks now, and few days ago our order to buy at 112.20 was filled. We exited the trade at 113.22 for 102 pips profit. Next day prices moved even higher. |
Here is our trade of the week from last Sunday. The set up was to go short AUD-USD at 0.8590 with a target of 0.8450. Prices have been stuck in a narrow range for most of the week, only to move against us on Friday. We are still in this trade with the same target. |

Just like mentioned earlier, we don't expect a lot of activity this week. Nonetheless, we are going to place a few trades. One of them might easily be this one. The currency pair is GBP-CHF and we are looking to buy it. Our intended entry point is 2.3015, with a target of 2.3105. We are not extremely ambitious here, as we don't think there is going to be a lot movement.
